(4) Statistical methods have limitations of high dependence on observations with complete values in time and space. More importantly, this kind of methods are easy to cause the good results due to the information overlap of the measured values, since many global observations have been merged into many SPPs. Water budget closure-based methods have advantages of low dependence on observations and can effectively avoid false evaluation results caused by information overlap. In addition, they assess the closure degree of water budget based on all components.
