It can be seen from Fig. 2(Fig. b), with the increase of the roller speed n, carbon black dispersion degree of the rubber material is improved to some extent. Seen from Fig. 2(Fig. c, d, e), the effect of roller speed n on the 300% stress at definite elongation, tensile strength, tearing strength, and other physical and mechanical properties exists an optimum value. It can be seen from the above experimental data that for this experimental platform, in the case of using all steel radial tire tread rubber ingredient, the optimum value of open mill roller speed n is around 29r/min. Within the scope of this best value, open mill mixing can get better mixing quality and also higher production efficiency. 2.3 The Effect of the Roller Speed Ratio on the Mixing Process
