Dismounting loose parts and cleaning of burnerFirst check the air-inlet and the flue-outlet for obstructions.1. Remove applicable sheet metal casing parts to get access to the inspection covers of the Alucom heat exchanger.2. Remove the fan, gas valve and venturi 3. Remove the burner hood.4. Remove the burner carefully without damaging the burner surface, and inspect itCheck the ignition electrode, especially the distance between the two pins, which must be 3.5 ± 0.5 mm. Replace the electrode and its gasket if necessary.Check the burner hood gasket on cracks, flexibility and dents and replace if necessary.Clean the inside of the burner with a vacuum cleaner and a nylon brush.A light can be used to shine from the inside to the outside to spot possible obstructions of the holes. If holes are obstructed then clean with a hard brush from the inside. Alternatively use compressed air, to carefully clean the burner from the outside to the inside.
