compared with those treated with verapamil. In contrastto studies of Shanthi et al [5] and Ahuja and Chatterjee[6], the scars of both groups in our study did not reachcomplete flattening and normal pliability at the end of thestudy. The possible reason could be the higher initial meanscores of height and pliability in both groups relative to thementioned studies. However, no significant difference wasfound in the pigmentation of the scars before and after treatmentin both groups. It could be due to the fact that mostof the scars had normal pigmentation at the beginning ofour study. This finding is compatible with previous studies.However, in contrast to previous works, scar vascularity didnot show significant difference with both treatments at theend of our study [5,6].
