9.2. Test Procedure Step 1: Increase the speed up to MCS and record vibration amplitude and phase. Let the rotor stabilize at MCS for 10 minutes at least, then record amplitude and phase again. Increase the speed up to TS. Produce a vibration vs. rotor speed diagram for the two support signal channels. Step 2: Let the rotor stabilize at TS for 2 minutes at least. The good behavior of the mechanical trip device can be recorded by measuring a “step” on the vibration amplitude. Step 3: Reduce the speed down to MCS, measure vibration amplitude checking that the trip device comes back to his original position; if necessary adjust the trip device to change his set-up. Step 4: Repeat steps 1, 2 and 3 in order to verify repeatability of results or to ensure the new set-up is correct. 10. WEIGHTS LOCKING The weights type to be applied for HSB must be as per ITN07203.00 specification. Once the test has been successfully performed, the weights must be locked according to ITN07203.00. 11. DOCUMENTATION A detailed report shall be issued and included in the “HSB Test Report” at the end of the balancing activities. The report shall be issued according to job QCP. 12.APPENDIX 1: GENERAL SCHEMES
