This works great for the amount of pet hair we have - 3 big dogs and 3 cats. We had the model before and loved it, worked great for 8 years! the only issue I will say is it doesn't have an automatic cord wrap... pretty annoying! You have to hand wrap the cord around 2 hooks.While i liked this vacuum at the beginning it doe not work very well on plush medium ply carpet. I will vacuum multiple passes and i can run my hand over the top of the carpet and still pull up hair. The canister pulls off very easily so its hard to lift the vacuum up on things, like a stair. It does work really good on hardwood or tile. Since i cant return it now i will keep if for that but very frustrating to own two vacuums.
