SubSection VIII Food transportationArticle 95. Vehicles intended to the transportation of food products shall:Ibe fitted with a compartment for that purpose only, made of strong nontoxic material thatallows for its maintenance, cleaning and disinfection;IIkeep food products, their packaging and containers segregated from direct contact with thevehicle floor;IIIkeep skids and racks made of smooth, heavy duty and water resistant material so as to makecleaning easy;IVensure that the materials applied for protecting and securing ship’s provisions may not besources of contamination or damage to the food products; andVbe fitted with temperature control means allowing for food products to be kept at their safetytemperatures as specified by the manufacturer or producer.Article 96. The equipment of food transportation vehicles shall be free from biological, chemicalor physical contaminants and shall be used only as intended.
