Only had the vacuum for two months

Only had the vacuum for two months and it's blowing out dust and dirt instead of sucking if up. I've tried everything to figure out why it's doing it, I had only used the vacuum maybe ten times before it broke. We only use it on three rugs because we have all hardwood flooring. It's not clogged or anything either. Both my husband and I have taken this thing apart to figure out why it's blowing instead of sucking but just can't figure it out. The return window for it is only 30days and it started doing this after 40 days. I guess you get what you pay for. I just wanted a cheap vacuum for the few rugs we do have.
