A fundamental change took place at the nursery in 2009, when it was purchased by Jarmila and Vladimír Poliak. Their goal was to rebuild the nursery into a top Moravian winery. The fi rst step was the construction of the production hall (opened in September 2011) with a production capacity of nearly 500,000 liters of wine. The production of our wines starts in the vineyards. Here, thanks to the careful attention of our staff and limited use of chemicals, we are able to grow the quality grapes we need. The grapes in our vineyards are harvested exclusively by hand. They are then transported to the production hall, where the stems are separated in a grinding mill and the grapes transported to a pneumatic press. Once drained, modern technology is used to control the fermentation and transform the must into unique wine.
