Tables 1 and 2 present the hydrogen absorption kinetics of toluene addition with graphene and CNTs. The 97% of the hydrogen absorption was achieved in the first 10min of the hydrogenation process at 320/320℃when 1ml of toluene is added with CNTs and graphene. The maximum of hydrogen absorption (6.3%) was achieved at 320/320℃ after 1h with 1ml addition of toluene. The increase in toluene has decreased the hydrogenation kinetics at all ab/desorption temperatures. Hydrogen absorption will reach more than &90% in the first 10 min. The CNTs with toluene are beneficial to enhance hydrogen kinetics by providing the zigzag structures, which provide more surface areas to penetrate hydrogen in magnesium alloy.
