I bought it, not just for the brand name, but because it was supposed to be "easy to clean" for pet hair. It's not. You can't remove the outer plastic casing that surrounds the inner tube that the hair wraps around. Secondly, I thought it had a retractable cord. It doesn't. It's the old-fashioned gotta-wind-it-up-yourself while bent over cord. And the tube that you attach accessories to snug-fits to the machine instead of having a button to detach it, so that it snaps on after use. So I have to use physical force to not just remove it, but to re-attach it after use. Finally, the accessories tube interferes with the winding up of the cord. All in all, it's a bad design as far as any convenience of use goes. Sure, it maneuvers under things and around corners, but when I dread having to detach the hose or wind up the cord, I start to avoid vacuuming all together. I had gone from the Hoover T-Series Rewind Plus vacuum and I think I'll go back to it. It's got everything that a vacuum should have and Bissell could learn a thing or two about design from them.
