The expression of lncRNA LUCAT1 in gastric cancer and adjacenttissue was detected by qRT-PCR. As shown in Fig. 1A, the expression oflncRNA LUCAT1 in gastric cancer tissue was significant higher thanthat in adjacent tissues. Interestingly, with the development of gastriccancer, the expression of lncRNA LUCAT1 was increased, which washighest in stage IV (Fig. 1B). Moreover, there were higher lncRNALUCAT1 levels in lymph node metastasis and distant metastasis tissues(Fig. 1C and D). Importantly, patients with high lncRNA LUCAT1 levelswere always with short overall survival and disease-free survival periods (Fig. 1E and F).
