Sintering is one of the major processes for densifying ceramics and involves exposing a powder to high temperatures to densify it into a dense bulk ceramic [1-3]. The sintering process generally requires temperatures of up to 1000℃ for many oxides materials [1, 4]. Obtaining such high sinter temperatures takes a long time and is an energy-consuming process that involves a complicated heating system. Therefore, numerous new sintering technologies have been developed over the past several decades to reduce the processing temperature. These technologies, such as liquid-phase sintering [5], microwave sintering [6], spark plasma sintering [7], flash sintering [8], and high-pressure sintering [9], lower the sintering temperature somewhat, although it still remains above 400℃.
