However, in most cases they are referring to issues discussed previously during the interview. The analysis has been carried out with an approach inspired by grounded theory where I have sorted the transcripts in categories until they are theoretically ‘saturated’, that is, ‘when gathering fresh data no longer sparks new theoretical insights’ (Charmaz, 2006: 113). When analyzing the transcripts, I have grouped excerpts from the interviews into categories and subcategories; thus, the focus has been on quotations and not the interviews as a whole, that is, as narratives. In line with the grounded theory approach I have coded the material rather openly; thus several readings and analyses of the material, rather than a predefined theory, have determined which themes and categories become more significant than others
