It was reported that post-heat-treatment was an effective way to optimize the microstructure and enhance the electrical conductivity of ZnO-based materials[18-21]. On the one hand, the crystallinity could be improved after post-heat-treatment[18, 19]. On the other hand, if different kinds of atmospheres were used during heat-treating process, the electrical properties could be tailored accordingly[20, 21]. Therefore, it’s reasonable to be speculated that if post-heat-treatment was applied on the as-cold-sintered ZnO ceramics, the microstructure and electrical conductivity could be further optimized.
