Through literature review, this paper reviews five kinds of camellia seed oil preparation techniques such as pressing method, solvent extraction method, supercritical CO2 method, subcritical fluid method and water enzymatic method, as well as extraction rate, fatty acid composition, acid value and peroxidation. Value, vitamin E, squalene and other quality indicators. The results show that the pressing method and the leaching method are mature in technology, ideal in cost control, and have achieved large-scale production. The supercritical CO2 method and subcritical fluid method have short process flow and ideal product quality. It is difficult to achieve scale due to investment and equipment capacity limitations. The water enzymatic technology is simple to operate, the product quality is ideal, and the process is not yet mature. It is foreseeable that the latter three methods are the research direction for developing high quality camellia seed oil.
