Fig. 7(a) shows εr (black line) and Qfo (blue line) as a function of x. εr increased with inceasing BF12 concentration but Qfo decreased from around 24,000 GHz to 17,000 GHz. These results are consistent with BF12 having a higher εr (25) and lower Qf (2000 GHz) than LMO. However, the values of Qf are remarkably high for a composite material and show great promise for MW applications, provided there is also an enhancement in m from the addition of the BF12 end member.
