Second 1: Check YourselfWhen preparing to dispatch a Ride, the operator will move with purpose to their panel and ensure they are in their designated safe zone for operation. They must ensure they remain there whenever there is movement of vehicles in or out of the Station. Second 2: Check Your Other OperatorAfter the operator has checked themselves they are required to the check the other operator/s to ensure they are in their designated safe zone for dispatch. Second 3: Check Your Train/VehiclesAfter visual checks have been conducted towards the operators, attention is now focused on the Ride that is preparing for dispatch. Visually check that all of the guests onboard the Ride are prepared for dispatch. Check that the visible path of the vehicle (track) is clear of obstructions. Second 4: Check Your EnvelopeAfter the train or vehicles have been checked the operators will now do a final visual check of the ride area, ensuring all visible restricted areas are clear, gates are closed and locked and all people are clear of the envelope. Second 5: Check for Dispatch Signals/Dispatch After the previous four checks have been completed, the operators will now issue a final all-clear signal to the person who is responsible for the dispatch of the Ride. Visual signals (thumbs up) must be held clear and high at all times until the Ride begins to move. Audible signals, where used, must be sounded for 3 seconds prior to the dispatch of a Ride.
